And Asa and the people that were with him pursued them unto Gerar: and there fell of the Ethiopians so many that they could not recover themselves; for they were destroyed before Jehovah, and before his host; and they carried away very much booty.

And Asaª and the peopleª that¹ [were] with¹ him pursuedª° them unto¹ Gerar:ª and the Ethiopiansª¹ were overthrown,ª° that they could not¹ recoverª themselves; for¹ they were destroyedª° beforeª the LORD,ª and beforeª his host;ª and they carried awayª° veryª muchª° spoil.ª
