For he said unto Judah, Let us build these cities, and make about them walls, and towers, gates, and bars; the land is yet before us, because we have sought Jehovah our God; we have sought him, and he hath given us rest on every side. So they built and prospered.

Therefore he saidª° unto Judah,ª Let us buildª°¹ these¹ cities,ª and make aboutª° [them] walls,ª and towers,ª gates,ª and bars,ª [while] the landª [is] yet¹ beforeª us; because¹ we have soughtª°¹ the LORDª our God,ª we have soughtª° [him], and he hath given us restª° on every side.ª¹ So they builtª° and prospered.ª°

Therefore hee saidª° vnto Iudah,ª Let vs buildª°¹ these¹ cities,ª & make aboutª° them walles,ª and towers,ª gatesª and barres,ª while the landª [is] yet¹ beforeª vs: because¹ wee haue soughtª°¹ the LORDª our God,ª wee haue soughtª° [him], and hee hath giuen vs restª° on euery side:ª¹ so they built,ª° and prospered.ª°

And he said to Judah{gr.Juda}, Let us fortify these cities, and make walls, and towers, and gates, and bars: we shall prevail over the land, for as we have sought out the Lord our God, he has sought out us, and has given us rest round about, and prospered us.

Therefore he saidª° unto Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה,ª Let us buildª°¹ these¹ cities,ª and make aboutª° [them] walls,ª and towers,ª gates,ª and bars,ª [while] the landª [is] yet¹ beforeª us; because¹ we have soughtª°¹ Yähwè יָהוֶהª our ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים,ª we have soughtª° [him], and he hath given us restª° on every side.ª¹ So they builtª° and prospered.ª°
