Have ye not driven out the priests of Jehovah, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites, and made you priests after the manner of the peoples of [other] lands? so that whosoever cometh to consecrate himself with a young bullock and seven rams, the same may be a priest of [them that are] no gods.

Have ye not¹ cast outª°¹ the priestsª of the LORD,ª¹ the sonsª of Aaron,ª and the Levites,ª and have madeª° you priestsª after the manner of the nationsª of [other] lands?ª so that whosoever¹ comethª° to consecrateªª° himself with a youngªª bullockª and sevenª rams,ª [the same] may be¹ a priestª of [them that are] noª gods.ª
