Then king Rehoboam sent Hadoram, who was over the men subject to taskwork; and the children of Israel stoned him to death with stones. And king Rehoboam made speed to get him up to his chariot, to flee to Jerusalem.

Then kingª Rehoboamª sentª°¹ Hadoramª that¹ [was] over¹ the tribute;ª and the childrenª of Israelª stonedª° him with stones,ª that he died.ª° But kingª Rehoboamª made speedª° to get him upª° to [his] chariot,ª to fleeª° to Jerusalem.ª

And king Rehoboam{gr.Roboam} sent to them Adoniram that was over the tribute; and the children of Israel stoned him with stones, and he died. And king Rehoboam{gr.Roboam} hasted to mount [his] chariot, to flee to Jerusalem.

Then kingª Ræçav`äm רְחַבעָםª sentª°¹ Háđôräm הֲדוֹרָםª that¹ [was] over¹ the tribute;ª and the childrenª of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵלª stonedª° him with stones,ª that he died.ª° But kingª Ræçav`äm רְחַבעָםª made speedª° to get him upª° to [his] chariot,ª to fleeª° to Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַם.ª
