And it came to pass, when Jeroboam the son of Nebat heard of it, (for he was in Egypt, whither he had fled from the presence of king Solomon,) that Jeroboam returned out of Egypt.

And it came to passe¹ when Ieroboamª the sonneª of Nebatª (who¹ [was] in Egypt,ª whither¹ hee had fledª° from the presenceª¹ of Solomonª the king)ª heardª° it, that Ieroboamª returnedª° out of Egypt.ª¹

And it came to pass when Jeroboam the son of Nebat{gr.Nabat} heard [it], (now he was in Mizraim{gr.Egypt}, forasmuch as he had fled thither from the face of king Solomon, and Jeroboam dwelt in Mizraim{gr.Egypt},) that Jeroboam returned out of Mizraim{gr.Egypt}.

And it came to pass,¹ when Yorov`äm יָרָבעָםª the sonª of Næväţ נְבָט,ª who¹ [was] in Mixrayim מִצרַיִם,ª whither¹ he had fledª° from the presenceª¹ of Šælömò שְׁלֹמֹהª the king,ª heardª° [it], that Yorov`äm יָרָבעָםª returnedª° out of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם.ª¹
