But Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him away from among the king's sons that were slain, even him and his nurse, [and put them] in the bedchamber; and they hid him from Athaliah, so that he was not slain;

And Josabee daughter of king Joram, sister of Ahaziah{gr.Ochozias}, took Joash{gr.Joas} the son of her brother, and stole him from among the king's sons that were put to death, [secreting] him and his nurse in the bedchamber, and hid him from the face of Athaliah{gr.Gotholia}, and he was not slain.

But Yæhôševa` יְהוֹשֶׁבַע,ª the daughterª of kingª Yôräm יוֹרָם,ª sisterª of ´Áçazyà אֲחַזיָה,ª tookª°¹ Yô´äš יוֹאָשׁª the sonª of ´Áçazyà אֲחַזיָה,ª and stoleª° him from amongª¹ the king'sª sonsª [which were] slain;ª° and they hidª° him, [even] him and his nurse,ª° in the bedchamberªª fromª¹ `Áŧalyà עֲתַליָה,ª so that he was not¹ slain.ª°
