And they went in to offer sacrifices and burnt-offerings. Now Jehu had appointed him fourscore men without, and said, If any of the men whom I bring into your hands escape, [he that letteth him go], his life shall be for the life of him.

And when they went inª° to offerª° sacrificesª and burnt offerings,ª Jehuª appointedª° fourscoreª menª without,ª and said,ª° [If] anyª of¹ the men²¹ whom¹ I¹ have broughtª° into¹ your handsª escape,ª° [he that letteth him go], his lifeª [shall be] for¹ the lifeª of him.

And he went in to offer sacrifices and whole-burnt-offerings; and Jehu{gr.Ju} set for himself eighty men without, and said, Every man who shall escape of the men whom I bring into your hand, the life of him [that spares him] shall go for his life.
