Then he wrote a letter the second time to them, saying, If ye be on my side, and if ye will hearken unto my voice, take ye the heads of the men your master's sons, and come to me to Jezreel by to-morrow this time. Now the king's sons, being seventy persons, were with the great men of the city, who brought them up.

Then he wroteª° a letterª the second timeª to¹ them, saying,ª° If¹ yee¹ [be] mine, and if ye¹ will hearkenª° vnto my voyce,ª takeª° ye¹ the headsª of the men²¹ your mastersª sonnes,ª and comeª° to¹ me to Iezreelª by to morowª this time:ª (now the kingsª sonnesª being seuentyª persons,ª [were] with¹ the great menª of the city,ª which brought them vp.)ª°¹

And Jehu{gr.Ju} wrote them a second letter, saying, If ye [are] for me, and hearken to my voice, take the heads of the men your master's sons, and bring [them] to me at this time to-morrow in Jezreel{gr.Jezrael}. Now the sons of the king were seventy men; these great men of the city brought them up.
