Then king Rehoboam sent Adoram, who was over the men subject to taskwork; and all Israel stoned him to death with stones. And king Rehoboam made speed to get him up to his chariot, to flee to Jerusalem.

Then kingª Rehoboamª sentª°¹ Adoram,ª who¹ [was] over¹ the tribute;ª and all¹ Israelª stonedª° him with stones,ª that he died.ª° Therefore kingª Rehoboamª made speedª° to get him upª° to his chariot,ª to fleeª° to Jerusalem.ª

Then kingª Rehoboamª sentª°¹ Adoram,ª who¹ [was] ouer¹ the tribute,ª and all¹ Israelª stonedª° him with stonesª that hee died:ª° therefore kingª Rehoboamª made speedª° to get him vpª° to his charet,ª to fleeª° to Ierusalem.ª

And the king sent Adoniram who was over the tribute; and they stoned him with stones, and he died: and king Rehoboam{gr.Roboam} made haste to rise to flee to Jerusalem.

Then kingª Ræçav`äm רְחַבעָםª sentª°¹ ´Áđöräm אֲדֹרָם,ª who¹ [was] over¹ the tribute;ª and all¹ Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵלª stonedª° him with stones,ª that he died.ª° Therefore kingª Ræçav`äm רְחַבעָםª made speedª° to get him upª° to his chariot,ª to fleeª° to Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַם.ª
