Then she said, I ask one small petition of thee; deny me not. And the king said unto her, Ask on, my mother; for I will not deny thee.

Then she said,ª° I¹ desireª° oneª smallª petitionª of¹ thee; [I pray thee], say²° me² not nay.ª°¹¹¹ And the kingª saidª° unto her, Ask on,ª° my mother:ª for¹ I will not¹ say²° thee² nay.ª°¹¹

Then she said,ª° I¹ desireª° oneª smallª petitionª of¹ thee, I pray thee say²° me² not nay:ª°¹¹¹ and the Kingª saidª° vnto her, Aske on,ª° my mother,ª for¹ I will not¹ say²° thee² nay.ª°¹¹

And she said to him, I ask of thee one little request; turn not away my face from thee. And the king said to her, Ask, my mother, and I will not reject thee.
