And Jonathan said unto David, Jehovah, the God of Israel, [be witness]: when I have sounded my father about this time to-morrow, [or] the third day, behold, if there be good toward David, shall I not then send unto thee, and disclose it unto thee?

And Jonathanª saidª° unto¹ David,ª O LORDª Godª of Israel,ª when¹ I have soundedª°¹ my fatherª about to morrowª any time,ª [or] the thirdª [day], and, behold,¹ [if there be] good²°¹ toward¹ David,ª and I then¹ sendª° not¹ unto¹ thee, and shew²°² it thee;¹¹¹

And Ionathanª saidª° vnto¹ Dauid,ª O LORDª Godª of Israel,ª when¹ I haue soundedª°¹ my father,ª about to morrowª any time,ª [or] the thirdª day, and behold,¹ [if there be] good²°¹ toward¹ Dauid,ª and I then¹ sendª° not¹ vnto¹ thee, and shew²°² it thee;¹¹¹

And Jonathan said to David, the Lord God of Israel knows that I will sound my father as I have an opportunity, three several times, and, behold, [if good] should be determined concerning David, and I do not send to thee to the field,

And Yæhônäŧän יְהוֹנָתָןª saidª° unto¹ Däwiđ דָּוִד,ª O Yähwè יָהוֶהª ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִיםª of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,ª when¹ I have soundedª°¹ my fatherª about to morrowª any time,ª [or] the thirdª [day], and, behold,¹ [if there be] good²°¹ toward¹ Däwiđ דָּוִד,ª and I then¹ sendª° not¹ unto¹ thee, and shew²°² it thee;¹¹¹
