And Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be kindled against me, and I will speak but this once: let me make trial, I pray thee, but this once with the fleece; let it now be dry only upon the fleece, and upon all the ground let there be dew.

And Gideonª saidª° unto¹ God,ª Let not¹ thine angerª be hotª° against me, and I will speakª° but¹ this once:ª let me prove,ª° I pray thee,¹ but¹ this onceª with the fleece;ª let it now¹ be¹ dryª only¹ upon¹ the fleece,ª and upon¹ all¹ the groundª let there be¹ dew.ª

And Gideonª saidª° vnto¹ God,ª Let not¹ thine angerª be hoteª° against me, and I will speakeª° but¹ this once:ª Let mee prooue,ª° I pray thee,¹ but¹ this onceª with the fleece.ª Let it now¹ be¹ drieª onely¹ vpon¹ the fleece,ª and vpon¹ all¹ the groundª let there be¹ deaw.ª

And Gideon{gr.Gedeon} said to God, Let not, I pray thee, thine anger be kindled with me, and I will speak yet once; I will even yet make one trial more with the fleece: let now the drought be upon the fleece only, and let there be dew on all the ground.
