And Gideon saw that he was the angel of Jehovah; and Gideon said, Alas, O Lord Jehovah! forasmuch as I have seen the angel of Jehovah face to face.

And when Gideonª perceivedª° that¹ he¹ [was] an angelª of the LORD,ª Gideonª said,ª° Alas,ª O Lordª GOD!ª for¹ becauseª¹ I have seenª° an angelª of the LORDª faceª to¹ face.ª
