And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east; they came up against them;

And [so] it was,¹ when¹ Israelª had sown,ª° that the Midianitesª came up,ª° and the Amalekites,²¹ and the childrenª of the east,ª even they came upª° against¹ them;

And [so] it was¹ when¹ Israelª had sowen,ª° that the Midianitesª came vp,ª° & the Amalekites,²¹ & the childrenª of the East,ª euen they came vpª° against¹ them,

And it came to pass when the children of Israel sowed, that Midian{gr.Madiam} and Amalek{gr.Amalec} went up, and the children of the east went up together with them.

And [so] it was,¹ when¹ Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵלª had sown,ª° that the Miđyänîm מִדיָנִיםª came up,ª° and the `Ámälëkîm עֲמָלֵקִים,²¹ and the childrenª of the east,ª even they came upª° against¹ them;
