And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel; and because of Midian the children of Israel made them the dens which are in the mountains, and the caves, and the strongholds.

And the handª of Midianª prevailedª° against¹ Israel:ª [and] becauseª¹ of the Midianitesª the childrenª of Israelª madeª° them¹ the densª which¹ [are] in the mountains,ª and caves,ª and strong holds.ª
