And [this] was the lot for the tribe of Manasseh; for he was the first-born of Joseph. As for Machir the first-born of Manasseh, the father of Gilead, because he was a man of war, therefore he had Gilead and Bashan.

There was¹ also a lotª for the tribeª of Manasseh;ª for¹ he¹ [was] the firstbornª of Joseph;ª [to wit], for Machirª the firstbornª of Manasseh,ª the fatherª of Gilead:ª because¹ he¹ was¹ a manª of war,ª therefore he had¹ Gileadª and Bashan.ª

There was¹ also a lotª for the tribeª of Manasseh;ª (for¹ hee¹ was the first borneª of Ioseph)ª [to wit], for Machirª the first borneª of Manassehª the fatherª of Gilead:ª because¹ he¹ [was]¹ a manª of warre,ª therefore hee had¹ Gileadª and Bashan.ª

And the borders of the tribe of the children of Manasseh{gr.Manasse}, (for he [was] the first-born of Joseph,) [assigned] to Machir the first-born of Manasseh{gr.Manasse} the father of Gilead{gr.Galaad}, for he was a warrior, [were] in the land of Gilead{gr.Galaad} and of Bashan{gr.Basan}.

There was¹ also a lotª for the tribeª of Mænaššè מְנַשֶּׁה;ª for¹ he¹ [was] the firstbornª of Yôsëf יוֹסֵף;ª [to wit], for Mäȼîr מָכִירª the firstbornª of Mænaššè מְנַשֶּׁה,ª the fatherª of Gil`äđ גִּלעָד:ª because¹ he¹ was¹ a manª of war,ª therefore he had¹ Gil`äđ גִּלעָדª and Bäšän בָּשָׁן.ª
