I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I put away thereof, being unclean, nor given thereof for the dead: I have hearkened to the voice of Jehovah my God; I have done according to all that thou hast commanded me.

I have not¹ eatenª° thereof¹ in my mourning,ª neither¹ have I taken awayª° [ought] thereof¹ for [any] uncleanª [use], nor¹ givenª° [ought] thereof¹ for the dead:ª° [but] I have hearkenedª° to the voiceª of the LORDª my God,ª [and] have doneª° according to all¹ that¹ thou hast commandedª° me.
