And I fell down before Jehovah, as at the first, forty days and forty nights; I did neither eat bread nor drink water; because of all your sin which ye sinned, in doing that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah, to provoke him to anger.

And I fell downª° beforeª the LORD,ª as at the first,ª fortyª daysª and fortyª nights:ª I did neither¹ eatª° bread,ª nor¹ drinkª° water,ª because of¹ all¹ your sinsª which¹ ye sinned,ª° in doingª° wickedlyª in the sightª of the LORD,ª to provoke him to anger.ª°

And I made my petition before the Lord as also at the first forty days and forty nights: I ate no bread and drank no water, on account of all your sins which ye sinned in doing evil before the Lord God to provoke him.

And I fell downª° beforeª Yähwè יָהוֶה,ª as at the first,ª fortyª daysª and fortyª nights:ª I did neither¹ eatª° bread,ª nor¹ drinkª° water,ª because of¹ all¹ your sinsª which¹ ye sinned,ª° in doingª° wickedlyª in the sightª of Yähwè יָהוֶה,ª to provoke him to anger.ª°
