But if the ox was wont to gore in time past, and it hath been testified to its owner, and he hath not kept it in, but it hath killed a man or a woman, the ox shall be stoned, and its owner also shall be put to death.

But if¹ the oxª were wont to push with his hornª in time past,ªª¹ and it hath been testifiedª° to his owner,ª and he hath not¹ kept²° him in,¹ but that he hath killedª° a manª or¹ a woman;ª the oxª shall be stoned,ª° and his ownerª also¹ shall be put to death.ª°
