And they said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go, we pray thee, three days' journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice unto Jehovah our God, lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword.

And they said,ª° The Godª of the Hebrewsª hath metª° with¹ us: let us go,²°¹ we pray thee,¹ threeª days'ª journeyª into the desert,ª and sacrificeª° unto the LORDª our God;ª lest¹ he fall²° upon¹ us with pestilence,ª or¹ with the sword.ª

And they said,ª° The Godª of the Hebrewesª hath metª° with¹ vs: let vs goe,²°¹ we pray thee,¹ threeª dayesª iourneyª into the desert,ª and sacrificeª° vnto the LORDª our God,ª lest¹ hee fall²° vpon¹ vs with pestilence,ª or¹ with the sword.ª

And they say to him, The God of the Hebrews has called us to him: we will go therefore a three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God, lest at any time death or slaughter happen to us.

And they said,ª° The ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִיםª of the `Ivrîm עִברִיםª hath metª° with¹ us: let us go,²°¹ we pray thee,¹ threeª days'ª journeyª into the desert,ª and sacrificeª° unto Yähwè יָהוֶהª our ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים;ª lest¹ he fall²° upon¹ us with pestilence,ª or¹ with the sword.ª
