Now Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob and sent him away to Paddan-aram, to take him a wife from thence. And that as he blessed him he gave him a charge, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.

When Esauº sawºº thatº Isaacº had blessedººº Jacob,º and sent him awayººº to Padanaram,º to takeºº him a wifeº from thence;ºº and that as he blessedºº him he gave him a charge,ººº saying,ºº Thou shalt notº takeºº a wifeº of the daughtersºº of Canaan;º

And Esau saw that Isaac blessed Jacob, and sent him away to Padanaram{gr.Mesopotamia} of Syria as he blessed him, to take to himself a wife thence, and [that] he charged him, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of the Canaanites{gr.Chananites};

When `Ë$äw עֵשָׂוº sawºº thatº Yixçäk יִצחָקº had blessedººº Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב,º and sent him awayººº to Paddan ´Áräm פַּדַּן־אֲרָם,º to takeºº him a wifeº from thence;ºº and that as he blessedºº him he gave him a charge,ººº saying,ºº Thou shalt notº takeºº a wifeº of the daughtersºº of Cænä`an כְּנָעַן;º
