And Jehovah God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, cursed art thou above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

And the LORDª Godª saidª° unto¹ the serpent,ª Because¹ thou² hast doneª° this,¹ thou¹ [art] cursedª° above all¹¹ cattle,ª and above every¹¹ beastª of the field;ª upon¹ thy bellyª shalt thou go,²°¹ and dustª shalt thou eatª° all¹ the daysª of thy life:ª

And the LORDª Godª saidª° vnto¹ the Serpent,ª Because¹ thou² hast doneª° this,¹ thou¹ [art] cursedª° aboue all¹¹ cattel,ª and aboue euery¹¹ beastª of the field:ª vpon¹ thy bellyª shalt thou goe,²°¹ and dustª shalt thou eate,ª° all¹ the dayesª of thy life.ª

And the Lord God said to the serpent, Because thou hast done this thou art cursed above all cattle and all the brutes of the earth, on thy breast and belly thou shalt go, and thou shalt eat earth all the days of thy life.
