For they coveredª°¹ the faceª of the whole¹ earth,ª so that the landª was darkened;ª° and they did eatª°¹ every¹ herbª of the land,ª and all¹ the fruitª of the treesª which¹ the hailª had left:ª° and there remainedª° not¹ any¹ green thingª in the trees,ª or in the herbsª of the field,ª through all¹ the landª of Egypt.ª" {Exd 10:13-15} + "He spake,ª° and the locustsª came,ª° and caterpillers,ª and that without¹ number,ª" {Psa 105:34} + "That which the palmerwormª hath leftª hath the locustª eaten;ª° and that which the locustª hath leftª hath the cankerwormª eaten;ª° and that which the cankerwormª hath leftª hath the caterpillerª eaten.ª°" {Jol 1:4} + "For¹ a nationª is come upª° upon¹ my land,ª strong,ª and without¹ number,ª whose teethª [are] the teethª of a lion,ª and he hath the cheek teethª of a great lion.ª ... And the LORDª shall utterª° his voiceª beforeª his army:ª for¹ his campª [is] veryª great:ª for¹ [he is] strongª that executethª° his word:ª for¹ the dayª of the LORDª [is] greatª and veryª terrible;ª° and who¹ can abideª° it?" {Jol 2:7-11} + "And I will restoreª° to you¹ the yearsª that¹ the locustª hath eaten,ª° the cankerworm,ª and the caterpiller,ª and the palmerworm,ª my greatª armyª which¹ I sentª° among you." {Jol 2:25} + "Andª there cameª° out ofª the¹ smokeª locustsª uponª the¹ earth:ª andª unto themª was givenª° power,ª asª the¹ scorpionsª of the¹ earthª haveª° power.ª ... Andª they hadª° a kingª overª them,²¹ [which is] the¹ angelª of the¹ bottomless pit,ª whoseª nameª in the Hebrew tongueª [is] Abaddon,ª butª inª the¹ Greek tongueª hathª° [his] nameª Apollyon.ª" {Rev 9:3-11}
