his strength:
That is, the ark, where his power and glory were displayed. "Arise,ª ° O LORD,ª into thy rest;ª thou,¹ and the arkª of thy strength.ª" {Psa 132:8} + "And the childrenª of Danª set upª °¹ the graven image:ª and Jonathan,ª the sonª of Gershom,² ¹ the sonª of Manasseh,ª he¹ and his sonsª were¹ priestsª to the tribeª of Danª until¹ the dayª of the captivityª ° of the land.ª" {Jdg 18:30} + "And the Philistinesª tookª °¹ the arkª of God,ª and broughtª ° it from Ebenezerª ¹ unto Ashdod.ª ...
