stood:
"And when she looked,ª ° behold,¹ the kingª stoodª ° by¹ a pillar,ª as the mannerª [was], and the princesª and the trumpetersª by¹ the king,ª and all¹ the peopleª of the landª rejoiced,ª and blewª ° with trumpets:ª and Athaliahª rentª °¹ her clothes,ª and cried,ª ° Treason,ª Treason.ª" {2Kg 11:14} + "And Jehoiadaª madeª °¹ a covenantª between¹ the LORDª and the kingª and the people,ª that they should be¹ the LORD'Sª people;ª between¹ the kingª also and the people.ª" {2Kg 11:17} + "And she looked,ª ° and, behold,¹ the kingª stoodª ° at¹ his pillarª at the entering in,ª and the princesª and the trumpetsª by¹ the king:ª and all¹ the peopleª of the landª rejoiced,ª and soundedª ° with trumpets,ª also the singersª ° with instrumentsª of musick,ª and such as taughtª ° to sing praise.ª ° Then Athaliahª rentª °¹ her clothes,ª and said,ª ° Treason,ª Treason.ª" {2Ch 23:13} + "And the kingª stoodª ° in¹ his place,ª and madeª °¹ a covenantª beforeª the LORD,ª to walk² °¹ afterª the LORD,ª and to keepª °¹ his commandments,ª and his testimonies,ª and his statutes,ª with all¹ his heart,ª and with all¹ his soul,ª to performª °¹ the wordsª of the covenantª which are writtenª ° in¹ this¹ book.ª ... made a covenant:
"And he tookª ° the bookª of the covenant,ª and readª ° in the audienceª of the people:ª and they said,ª ° All¹ that¹ the LORDª hath saidª ° will we do,ª ° and be obedient.ª ° ... to walk:
"And it shall be,¹ if¹ thou do at all² ° forgetª °¹ the LORDª thy God,ª and walkª ° afterª otherª gods,ª and serveª ° them, and worshipª ° them, I testifyª ° against you this dayª that¹ ye shall surely² ° perish.ª °" {Deu 8:19}

his commandments:
