he was sore:
"And Gideonª cameª ° to Jordan,ª [and] passed over,ª ° he,¹ and the threeª hundredª menª that¹ [were] with¹ him, faint,ª yet pursuingª ° [them]." {Jdg 8:4} + "I am poured outª ° like water,ª and all¹ my bonesª are out of joint:ª ° my heartª is¹ like wax;ª it is meltedª ° in the midstª of my bowels.ª ... Thou hast given:
"Arise,ª ° O LORD;ª saveª ° me, O my God:ª for¹ thou hast smittenª °¹ all¹ mine enemiesª ° [upon] the cheek bone;ª thou hast brokenª ° the teethª of the ungodly.ª ... shall:

the uncircumcised:
