shall be:
The meat offering of the people was eaten by the priests, who typically bore and expiated their sins; but as no priest, being a sinner, could make atonement for himself, his meat offering must not be eaten, but wholly burnt on the altar, which was a typical transfer of his guilt to the great antitype who actually bore and expiated it.
it shall not be:
"And the remainderª° thereof¹ shall Aaronª and his sonsª eat:ª° with unleavened breadª shall it be eatenª° in the holyª place;ª in the courtª of the tabernacleª of the congregationª they shall eatª° it. ... It shall not¹ be bakenª° with leaven.ª I have givenª° it [unto them for] their portionª of my offerings made by fire;ª¹ it¹ [is] most² holy,ª as [is] the sin offering,ª and as the trespass offering.ª" {Lev 6:16-17} + "And that which is leftª° of¹ the meat offeringª [shall be] Aaron'sª and his sons':ª [it is] a thing most² holyª of the offerings²° of the LORD² made by fire.ª¹¹" {Lev 2:10}
