Micah 7

1 The Church, complaining of her small number, 3 and the general corruption, 5 putteth her confidence not in man, but in God. 8 She triumpheth over her enemies. 14 God comforteth her by promises, 16 by confusion of the enemies, 18 and by his mercies.

 7:1 ¶ Woe 480 is me! for x3588 I am x1961 as when they have gathered 625 the summer fruits, 7019 as the grapegleanings 5955 of the vintage: 1210 [there is] no x369 cluster 811 to eat: 398 z8800 my soul 5315 desired 183 z8765 the firstripe fruit. 1063

 7:2 The good 2623 [man] is perished 6 z8804 out of x4480 the earth: 776 and [there is] none x369 upright 3477 among men: 120 they all x3605 lie in wait 693 z8799 for blood; 1818 they hunt 6679 z8799 every man 376 x853 his brother 251 with a net. 2764

 7:3 ¶ That they may do evil 7451 x5921 with both hands 3709 earnestly, 3190 z8687 the prince 8269 asketh, 7592 z8802 and the judge 8199 z8802 [asketh] for a reward; 7966 and the great 1419 [man], he x1931 uttereth 1696 z8802 his mischievous 1942 desire: 5315 so they wrap it up. 5686 z8762

 7:4 The best 2896 of them [is] as a brier: 2312 the most upright 3477 [is sharper] than a thorn hedge: 4534 x4480 the day 3117 of thy watchmen 6822 z8764 [and] thy visitation 6486 cometh; 935 z8804 now x6258 shall be x1961 their perplexity. 3998

 7:5 ¶ Trust 539 z8686 ye not x408 in a friend, 7453 put ye not confidence 982 z8799 x408 in a guide: 441 keep 8104 z8798 the doors 6607 of thy mouth 6310 from her that lieth 7901 z8802 x4480 in thy bosom. 2436

 7:6 For x3588 the son 1121 dishonoureth 5034 z8764 the father, 1 the daughter 1323 riseth up 6965 z8801 against her mother, 517 the daughter in law 3618 against her mother in law; 2545 a man's 376 enemies 341 z8802 [are] the men y582 x376 of his own house. 1004

 7:7 Therefore I x589 will look 6822 z8762 unto Yahweh; 3068 I will wait 3176 z8686 for the Elohim 430 of my salvation: 3468 my Elohim 430 will hear 8085 z8799 me.

 7:8 ¶ Rejoice 8055 z8799 not x408 against me, O mine enemy: 341 z8802 when x3588 I fall, 5307 z8804 I shall arise; 6965 z8804 when x3588 I sit 3427 z8799 in darkness, 2822 Yahweh 3068 [shall be] a light 216 unto me.

 7:9 I will bear 5375 z8799 the indignation 2197 of Yahweh, 3068 because x3588 I have sinned 2398 z8804 against him, until x5704 he plead 7378 z8799 my cause, 7379 and execute 6213 z8804 judgment 4941 for me: he will bring me forth 3318 z8686 to the light, 216 [and] I shall behold 7200 z8799 his righteousness. 6666

 7:10 Then [she that is] mine enemy 341 z8802 shall see 7200 z8799 [it], and shame 955 shall cover 3680 z8762 her which said 559 z8802 unto x413 me, Where x346 is Yahweh 3068 thy Elohim? 430 mine eyes 5869 shall behold 7200 z8799 her: now x6258 shall she be x1961 trodden down 4823 as the mire 2916 of the streets. 2351

 7:11 [In] the day 3117 that thy walls 1447 are to be built, 1129 z8800 [in] that x1931 day 3117 shall the decree 2706 be far removed. 7368 z8799

 7:12 [In] that x1931 day 3117 [also] he shall come 935 z8799 even to x5704 thee from x4480 Assyria, 804 and [from] the fortified 4693 cities, 5892 and from x4480 the fortress 4693 even to x5704 the river, 5104 and from sea 3220 to sea, 3220 x4480 and [from] mountain 2022 to mountain. 2022

 7:13 Notwithstanding the land 776 shall be x1961 desolate 8077 because of x5921 them that dwell 3427 z8802 therein, for the fruit 6529 x4480 of their doings. 4611

 7:14 ¶ Feed 7462 z8798 thy people 5971 with thy rod, 7626 the flock 6629 of thine heritage, 5159 which dwell 7931 z8802 solitarily 910 [in] the wood, 3293 in the midst 8432 of Carmel: 3760 let them feed 7462 z8799 [in] Bashan 1316 and Gilead, 1568 as in the days 3117 of old. 5769

 7:15 According to the days 3117 of thy coming y3318 z8800 out x3318 of the land 776 x4480 of Egypt 4714 will I shew 7200 z8686 unto him marvellous 6381 z8737 [things].

 7:16 ¶ The nations 1471 shall see 7200 z8799 and be confounded 954 z8799 at all x4480 x3605 their might: 1369 they shall lay 7760 z8799 [their] hand 3027 upon x5921 [their] mouth, 6310 their ears 241 shall be deaf. 2790 z8799

 7:17 They shall lick 3897 z8762 the dust 6083 like a serpent, 5175 they shall move 7264 z8799 out of their holes 4526 x4480 like worms 2119 z8801 of the earth: 776 they shall be afraid 6342 z8799 of x413 Yahweh 3068 our Elohim, 430 and shall fear 3372 z8799 because of x4480 thee.

 7:18 Who x4310 [is] an El 410 like unto thee, x3644 that pardoneth 5375 z8802 iniquity, 5771 and passeth by 5674 z8802 x5921 the transgression 6588 of the remnant 7611 of his heritage? 5159 he retaineth 2388 z8689 not x3808 his anger 639 for ever, 5703 because x3588 he x1931 delighteth 2654 z8804 [in] mercy. 2617

 7:19 He will turn again, 7725 z8799 he will have compassion 7355 z8762 upon us; he will subdue 3533 z8799 our iniquities; 5771 and thou wilt cast 7993 z8686 all x3605 their sins 2403 into the depths 4688 of the sea. 3220

 7:20 Thou wilt perform 5414 z8799 the truth 571 to Jacob, 3290 [and] the mercy 2617 to Abraham, 85 which x834 thou hast sworn 7650 z8738 unto our fathers 1 from the days 3117 x4480 of old. 6924
