Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time;

Humble yourselvesª° thereforeª underª the¹ mightyª handª of God,ª thatª he may exaltª° youª inª due time:ª

Be humbled, therefore, under the mighty hand of Aloha, that he may exalt you at the right time.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the powerful hand of God: and it will exalt you in due time.

Ταπεινώθητε οὖν ὑπὸ τὴν κραταιὰν χεῖρα τοῦ θεοῦ, ἵνα ὑμᾶς ὑψώσῃ ἐν καιρῷ,

Ye-should-have-been-en-lowed accordingly under to-the-one to-secure-belonged to-a-hand of-the-one of-a-Deity, so to-ye it-might-have-en-overed in unto-a-time,
