partly, being made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, becoming partakers with them that were so used.

Partly,ªª whilst ye were made a gazingstockª° bothª by reproachesª andª afflictions;ª andª partly,ª whilst ye becameª° companionsª of them that were²° so² used.ª°¹

Partlyªª whilest ye were made a gazing stockeª° bothª by reprochesª &ª afflictions,ª andª partlyª whilest ye becameª° companionsª of them that were²° so² vsed.ª°¹

and when ye were made gazing-stocks, and were associated with men who also endured these (things).

and ye were a gazing stock, and also were the associates of persons who endured these things:

τοῦτο μὲν ὀνειδισμοῖς τε καὶ θλίψεσιν θεατριζόμενοι, τοῦτο δὲ κοινωνοὶ τῶν οὕτως ἀναστρεφομένων γενηθέντες:

to-the-one-this indeed unto-reproachings-of also and unto-pressings being-en-theatred-to, to-the-one-this moreover en-commoned of-the-ones unto-the-one-this of-being-beturned-up having-been-became;
