Saying above, Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and [sacrifices] for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein (the which are offered according to the law),

Aboveª when he said,ª°² Sacrificeª andª offering²¹ andª burnt offeringsª andª [offering] forª sinª thou wouldestª° not,ª neitherª hadst pleasureª° [therein]; whichª are offered²°¹ byª the¹ law;ª

Aboueª when hee said,ª°² Sacrifice,ª andª offering,²¹ andª burnt offerings,ª andª offering forª sinneª thou wouldestª° not,ª neitherª hadst pleasureª° therein, whichª are offered²°¹ byª the¹ Law:ª

Above he said, Victims, and oblations, and entire burnt-offerings for sin thou hast not willed; those which are offered in the law.

He first said: Sacrifices and oblations and holocausts for sins, which were offered according to the law, thou desiredst not;

ἀνώτερον λέγων ὅτι Θυσίας καὶ προσφορὰς καὶ ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ περὶ ἁμαρτίας οὐκ ἠθέλησας οὐδὲ εὐδόκησας, αἵτινες κατὰ νόμον προσφέρονται,

To-more-up-unto-which forthing to-which-a-one, To-surgings-unto and to-beareeings-toward and to-whole-burnings-to and about of-an-un-adjusting-along-unto not thou-determined not-moreover thou-goodly-thought-unto, which-ones down to-a-parcelee they-be-beared-toward,
