For we are not bold to number or compare ourselves with certain of them that commend themselves: but they themselves, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves with themselves, are without understanding.

For we dare not value or compare ourselves with those who glorify themselves; but because they compare themselves with themselves, they do not understand.

Οὐ γὰρ τολμῶμεν ἐνκρῖναι ἢ συνκρῖναι ἑαυτούς τισιν τῶν ἑαυτοὺς συνιστανόντων: ἀλλὰ αὐτοὶ ἐν ἑαυτοῖς ἑαυτοὺς μετροῦντες καὶ συνκρίνοντες ἑαυτοὺς ἑαυτοῖς οὐ συνιᾶσιν.

Not therefore we-venture-unto to-have-separated-in or to-have-separated-together to-selves unto-ones of-the-ones to-selves of-standing-together; other them in unto-selves to-selves measuring-unto and separating-together to-selves unto-selves not they-send-together.
