Insomuch that we exhorted Titus, that as he made a beginning before, so he would also complete in you this grace also.

Insomuch² that weª desiredª° Titus,ª thatª asª he had begun,ª° soª he would²° alsoª finishª° inª youª the¹ sameª graceª also.ª

In so much² that weeª desiredª° Titus,ª thatª asª he had begun,ª° soª hee would²° alsoª finishª° inª you,ª the¹ sameª graceª also.ª

For we would request of Titos, that as he had begun, so he would carry into accomplishment this beneficence among you also.

So that we requested Titus, that as he had begun, so he would perfect in you also the same beneficence.

εἰς τὸ παρακαλέσαι ἡμᾶς Τίτον ἵνα καθὼς προενήρξατο οὕτως καὶ ἐπιτελέσῃ εἰς ὑμᾶς καὶ τὴν χάριν ταύτην:

into to-the-one to-have-called-beside-unto to-us to-a-Titos, so down-as it-firsted-in-before unto-the-one-this and it-might-have-finished-upon-unto into to-ye and to-the-one to-a-granting to-the-one-this;
