What fruit then had ye at that time in the things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

Whatª² fruitª¹ had¹ ye²° thenª inª those things whereofª ye are²° now² ashamed?ª°¹ forª the¹ endª of those thingsª [is] death.ª

And what product had you then from that of which to-day you are ashamed? For the end of it is death.

And what harvest had ye then, in that of which ye are now ashamed? For the result thereof is death.

τίνα οὖν καρπὸν εἴχετε τότε ἐφ' οἷς νῦν ἐπαισχύνεσθε; τὸ γὰρ τέλος ἐκείνων θάνατος:

To-what-one accordingly to-a-fruit ye-were-holding to-the-one-which-also upon unto-which now ye-beshame-upon? The-one therefore a-finish of-the-ones-thither a-death;
