asking a favor against him, that he would send for him to Jerusalem; laying a plot to kill him on the way.

And desiredª° favourª againstª him,ª thatª he would send forª° himª toª Jerusalem,ª laying²° waitª¹ inª the¹ wayª to killª° him.ª

And desiredª° fauourª againstª him,ª thatª he would send forª° himª toª Hierusalem,ª laying²° waitª¹ inª the¹ wayª to killª° him.ª

and besought from him, asking of him this favour, that he would bring him to Urishlem, while they would act treacherously in the way by killing him.

And they petitioned him, asking of him the favor, that he would send for him to come to Jerusalem; they placing an ambush to slay him by the way.

αἰτούμενοι χάριν κατ' αὐτοῦ ὅπως μεταπέμψηται αὐτὸν εἰς Ἰερουσαλήμ, ἐνέδραν ποιοῦντες ἀνελεῖν αὐτὸν κατὰ τὴν ὁδόν.

appealing-unto to-a-granting down of-it unto-which-whither it-might-have-dispatched-with to-it into to-a-Hierousalem, to-a-seatedness-in doing-unto to-have-had-sectioned-up to-it down to-the-one to-a-way.
