And they came to the chief priests and the elders, and said, We have bound ourselves under a great curse, to taste nothing until we have killed Paul.

And theyª came¹ to²° the¹ chief priestsª andª elders,ª and said,ª° We have bound²° ourselves² under a great curse,ª¹¹ that we will eatª° nothingª untilª² we have¹ slainª° Paul.ª

And theyª came¹ to²° the¹ chiefe Priestsª andª Elders,ª and said,ª° Wee haue bound²° our selues² vnder a great curse,ª¹¹ that wee will eateª° nothingª vntillª² wee haue¹ slaineª° Paul.ª

And they drew nigh to the priests and to the elders, and said, A vow we have vowed upon us, that nothing will we taste until we have killed Paulos.

And they went to the priests and Elders, and said: We have bound ourselves by imprecations, that we will taste of nothing, until we shall have slain Paul.

οἵτινες προσελθόντες τοῖς ἀρχιερεῦσιν καὶ τοῖς πρεσβυτέροις εἶπαν Ἀναθέματι ἀνεθεματίσαμεν ἑαυτοὺς μηδενὸς γεύσασθαι ἕως οὗ ἀποκτείνωμεν τὸν Παῦλον.

which-ones having-had-came-toward unto-the-ones unto-first-sacreders and unto-the-ones unto-more-eldered they-said, Unto-a-placing-up-to we-placed-up-to to-selves of-lest-moreover-one to-have-tasted-of unto-if-which of-which we-might-have-killed-off to-the-one to-a-Paulos.
