And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer: for as thou hast testified concerning me at Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.

Andª the¹ nightª followingª° the¹ Lordª stood byª° him,ª and said,ª° Be of good cheer,ª° Paul:ª forª asª thou hast testifiedª° ofª meª in²¹ Jerusalem,ª soª mustª° thouª bear witnessª° alsoª atª Rome.ª

And when it was night our Lord appeared unto Paulos, and said to him, Be strong: for as thou hast testified of me in Urishlem, so is it to be that thou also in Ruma shalt testify.

And when night came, our Lord appeared to Paul, and said to him: Be strong; for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so also art thou to testify at Rome.

Τῇ δὲ ἐπιούσῃ νυκτὶ ἐπιστὰς αὐτῷ ὁ κύριος εἶπεν Θάρσει, ὡς γὰρ διεμαρτύρω τὰ περὶ ἐμοῦ εἰς Ἰερουσαλὴμ οὕτω σε δεῖ καὶ εἰς Ῥώμην μαρτυρῆσαι.

Unto-the-one moreover unto-being-upon unto-a-night having-had-stood-upon unto-it, the-one Authority-belonged, it-had-said, Thou-should-brave-unto, as therefore thou-witnessed-through to-the-ones about of-ME into to-a-Hierousalem unto-the-one-this to-thee it-bindeth and into to-a-Rhome to-have-witnessed-unto.
