And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and he that marrieth her when she is put away committeth adultery.

Andª I sayª° unto you,ª² Whosoeverªª shall put awayª° his²¹ wife,ª exceptª [it be] forª fornication,ª andª shall marryª° another,ª committeth adultery:ª° andª whoso marriethª° her which² is put awayª° doth commit adultery.ª°

And I say to you that whosoever shall forsake his wife who is not adulterous, and take another, committeth adultery; and whosoever taketh the deserted one, committeth adultery.

And I say to you, That whoever leaveth his wife not being an adulteress, and taketh another, committeth adultery. And whoever taketh her that is divorced, committeth adultery.

λέγω δὲ ὑμῖν ὅτι ὃς ἂν ἀπολύσῃ τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ μὴ ἐπὶ πορνείᾳ καὶ γαμήσῃ ἄλλην μοιχᾶται.

I-forth moreover unto-ye to-which-a-one which ever it-might-have-loosed-off to-the-one to-a-woman of-it lest upon unto-a-harloting-of and it-might-have-married-unto to-other, it-adultereth-unto.
