And he answered and said, Have ye not read, that he who made [them] from the beginning made them male and female,

Andª he¹ answeredª° and saidª° unto them,ª Have ye²° notª read,ª° thatª he which² madeª° [them] atª the beginningª madeª° themª maleª andª female,ª

Andª hee¹ answered,ª° and saidª° vnto them,ª Haue ye²° notª read,ª° thatª he which² madeª° them atª the beginning,ª madeª° themª maleª andª female?ª

But he answered and said to them, Have you not read that He who created from the beginning, male and female hath made them?

And he answered and said to them: Have ye not read, that he who made [them] at the beginning, made them a male and a female?

ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν Οὐκ ἀνέγνωτε ὅτι ὁ κτίσας ἀπ' ἀρχῆς ἄρσεν καὶ θῆλυ ἐποίησεν αὐτοὺς

The-one moreover having-been-separated-off it-had-said, Not ye-had-acquainted-up to-which-a-one the-one having-created-to off of-a-firsting to-male and to-female it-did-unto to-them,
