and saith unto him, If thou art the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and, On their hands they shall bear thee up, Lest haply thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Andª saithª° unto him,ª Ifª thou beª° the Sonª of God,ª castª° thyselfª down:ª forª it is written,ª°² He shall give²° his² angels² chargeª°¹¹ concerningª thee:ª andª inª [their] handsª they shall bear²° thee² up,ª°¹ lest at any timeª thou dashª° thyª footª againstª a stone.ª

Andª saithª° vnto him,ª Ifª thou beeª° the Sonneª of God,ª castª° thy selfeª downe:ª Forª it is written,ª°² He shall giue²° his² Angels² chargeª°¹¹ concerningª thee,ª &ª inª their handesª they shall beare²° thee² vp,ª°¹ lest at any timeª thou dashª° thyª footeª againstª a stone.ª

and said to him, If the Son thou art of Aloha, throw thyself down; for it is written that his angels he shall command concerning thee, and upon their hands they shall bear thee, that thou strike not against a stone thy foot.

and said to him: If thou art the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, that he will give his angels charge of thee, and in their hands will they sustain thee, lest thou strike thy foot against a stone.

καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ Εἰ υἱὸς εἶ τοῦ θεοῦ, βάλε σεαυτὸν κάτω: γέγραπται γὰρ ὅτι Τοῖς ἀγγέλοις αὐτοῦ ἐντελεῖται περὶ σοῦ καὶ ἐπὶ χειρῶν ἀροῦσίν σε, μή ποτε προσκόψῃς πρὸς λίθον τὸν πόδα σου.

and it-fortheth unto-it, If a-son thou-be of-the-one of-a-Deity, thou-should-have-had-casted to-thyself down-unto-which; it-had-come-to-be-scribed therefore which-a-one, Unto-the-ones unto-messengers of-it it-shall-finish-in about of-THEE and upon of-hands they-shall-lift to-thee lest whither-also thou-might-have-felled-toward toward to-a-stone to-the-one to-a-foot of-thee.
