As thou knowest not what is the way of the wind, [nor] how the bones [do grow] in the womb of her that is with child; even so thou knowest not the work of God who doeth all.

As¹ thou knowestª° not¹ what¹ [is] the wayª of the spirit,ª [nor] how the bonesª [do grow] in the wombª of her that is with child:ª even so¹ thou knowestª° not¹¹ the worksª of Godª who¹ makethª°¹ all.¹

As¹ thou knowestª° not¹ what¹ [is] the wayª of the spirit,ª nor how the bonesª [doe growe] in the wombeª of her that is with child:ª euen so¹ thou knowestª° not¹¹ the workesª of Godª who¹ makethª°¹ all.¹

Among whom none knows what is the way of the wind: as the bones [are hid] in the womb of a pregnant [woman], so thou shalt not know the works of God, [even] all things whatsoever he shall do.
