And they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they go in unto the tent of meeting, or when they come near unto the altar to minister in the holy place; that they bear not iniquity, and die: it shall be a statute for ever unto him and unto his seed after him.

And they shall be¹ upon¹ Aaron,ª and upon¹ his sons,ª when they come²° in¹ unto¹ the tabernacleª of the congregation,ª or¹ when they come nearª° unto¹ the altarª to ministerª° in the holyª [place]; that they bearª° not¹ iniquity,ª and die:ª° [it shall be] a statuteª for everª unto him and his seedª afterª him.

And they shall be¹ vpon¹ Aaron,ª & vpon¹ his sonnes,ª when they come²° in¹ vnto¹ the Tabernacleª of the Congregation,ª or¹ when they come neereª° vnto¹ the Altarª to ministerª° in the holyª place, that they beareª° not¹ iniquitie,ª and die.ª° [It shall be] a statuteª for euerª vnto him and his seedeª afterª him.

And Aaron shall have them, and his sons, whenever they enter into the tabernacle of witness, or when they shall advance to the altar of the sanctuary to minister, so they shall not bring sin upon themselves, lest they die: [it is] a perpetual statute for him, and for his seed after him.
