- the brother:
- This is generally supposed to have been Said. Luke, "whose praise was in all the churches," on account of the gospel which he had written, and for many zealous services in its cause. "Andª notª [that] only,ª butª who was²° alsoª chosenª° ofª the¹ churchesª to travel² with¹ usª withª thisª grace,ª which² is administeredª° byª usª toª the¹ gloryª of the¹ sameª Lord,ª andª [declaration of] yourª ready mind:ª" {2Co 8:19} + "Andª we have sent²° with¹ themª ourª brother,ª whomª we have²° oftentimesª provedªª°° diligentª inª many things,ª butª nowª muchª more diligent,ª upon the greatª confidenceª whichª [I have] inª you.ª ...
