at this present:
"Andª ifª by grace,ª then [is it] no moreª ² ofª works:ª otherwiseª graceª isª ° no moreª ² grace.ª Butª ifª [it be] ofª works,ª then is¹ it² ° no moreª ² grace:ª otherwiseª workª isª ° no moreª ² work.ª ... Whatª then?ª Israelª hath² °¹ notª obtainedª ° that² whichª he seeketh for;ª ° butª the¹ electionª hath obtained¹ it,² ° andª the¹ restª were blindedª °" {Rom 11:6-7} + "Esaiasª alsoª criethª ° concerningª Israel,ª Thoughª the¹ numberª of the¹ childrenª of Israelª beª ° asª the¹ sandª of the¹ sea,ª a remnantª shall be saved:ª °" {Rom 9:27}

election of grace:
The election which proceeds from the mercy and goodness of God. "As concerningª ª the¹ gospel,ª [they are] enemiesª for your sakes:ª ª butª as touchingª the¹ election,ª [they are] belovedª for² ° the fathers'² sakes.ª ¹ ¹" {Rom 11:28} + "(Forª [the children] being² ° not yetª born,ª ° neitherª having doneª ° anyª goodª orª evil,ª thatª the¹ purposeª of Godª accordingª to electionª might stand,ª ° notª ofª works,ª butª ofª him that calleth;)ª °" {Rom 9:11} + "Having predestinatedª ° usª untoª the adoption of childrenª byª Jesusª Christª toª himself,² ¹ accordingª to the¹ good pleasureª of his² ¹ will,ª ...
