I bear them:
By this fine apology for the Jews, the Apostle prepares them for the harsher truths which he was about to deliver. "Forª toª [their] power,ª I bear record,ª ° yea, andª beyondª [their] powerª [they were] willing of themselves;ª" {2Co 8:3} + "Whereª isª ° thenª the¹ blessedness² ¹ yeª spake of? forª I bear² ° you² record,ª °¹ that,ª ifª [it had been] possible,ª ye would have plucked outª °¹ your² own¹ eyes,ª and have given¹ them² ² ° to me.ª" {Gal 4:15} + "Forª I bear² ° him² record,ª °¹ thatª he hathª ° a greatª zealª forª you,ª andª them¹ [that are] inª Laodicea,ª andª them¹ inª Hierapolis.ª" {Col 4:13}
