Hamath:
"So they went up,ª ° and searchedª °¹ the landª from the wildernessª ¹ of Zinª unto¹ Rehob,ª as men comeª ° to Hamath.ª" {Num 13:21} + "And Pharaohnechohª put him in bandsª ° at Riblahª in the landª of Hamath,ª that he might not reignª °¹ in Jerusalem;ª and putª °¹ the landª to a tributeª of an hundredª talentsª of silver,ª and a talentª of gold.ª" {2Kg 23:33} + "And the kingª of Babylonª smoteª ° them, and slewª ° them at Riblahª in the landª of Hamath.ª So Judahª was carried awayª ° out of¹ ¹ their land.ª" {2Kg 25:21} + "Concerning Damascus.ª Hamathª is confounded,ª ° and Arpad:ª for¹ they have heardª ° evilª tidings:ª they are fainthearted;ª ° [there is] sorrowª on the sea;ª it cannotª °¹ be quiet.ª °" {Jer 49:23} + "But,¹ behold,¹ I will raise upª ° against¹ you a nation,ª O houseª of Israel,ª saithª ° the LORDª the Godª of hosts;ª and they shall afflictª ° you from the entering inª °¹ of Hemathª unto¹ the riverª of the wilderness.ª" {Ams 6:14}

Tyrus:
"The burdenª of Tyre.ª Howl,ª ° ye shipsª of Tarshish;ª for¹ it is laid waste,ª ° so that there is no house,ª ¹ no entering in:ª °¹ from the landª ¹ of Chittimª it is revealedª ° to them. ... And her merchandiseª and her hireª shall be¹ holinessª to the LORD:ª it shall not¹ be treasuredª ° nor¹ laid up;ª ° for¹ her merchandiseª shall be¹ for them that dwellª ° beforeª the LORD,ª to eatª ° sufficiently,ª and for durableª clothing.ª" {Isa 23:1-18} + "And it came to pass¹ in the eleventhª ª year,ª in the firstª [day] of the month,ª [that] the wordª of the LORDª came¹ unto¹ me, saying,ª ° ... Zidon:
"Arise,ª ° get² °¹ thee to Zarephath,ª which¹ [belongeth] to Zidon,ª and dwellª ° there:¹ behold,¹ I have commandedª ° a widowª womanª there¹ to sustainª ° thee." {1Kg 17:9} + "Sonª of man,ª setª ° thy faceª against¹ Zidon,ª and prophesyª ° against¹ it, ... And they shall dwellª ° safelyª therein,¹ and shall buildª ° houses,ª and plantª ° vineyards;ª yea, they shall dwellª ° with confidence,ª when I have executedª ° judgmentsª upon all¹ those that despiseª ° them round aboutª ¹ them; and they shall knowª ° that¹ I¹ [am] the LORDª their God.ª" {Ezk 28:21-26} + "And the captivityª of this¹ hostª of the childrenª of Israelª [shall possess] that¹ of the Canaanites,ª [even] unto¹ Zarephath;ª and the captivityª of Jerusalem,ª which¹ [is] in Sepharad,ª shall possessª °¹ the citiesª of the south.ª" {Oba 1:20}

"Behold,¹ thou¹ [art] wiserª than Daniel;ª ¹ there is no¹ secretª ° that they can hideª ° from thee: ... By thy greatª wisdomª [and] by thy traffickª hast thou increasedª ° thy riches,ª and thine heartª is lifted upª ° because of thy riches:ª" {Ezk 28:3-5} + "Sonª of man,ª take upª ° a lamentationª upon¹ the kingª of Tyrus,ª and sayª ° unto him, Thus¹ saithª ° the Lordª GOD;ª Thou¹ sealest upª ° the sum,ª fullª of wisdom,ª and perfectª in beauty.ª" {Ezk 28:12}
