"By swearing,ª ° and lying,ª ° and killing,ª ° and stealing,ª ° and committing adultery,ª ° they break out,ª ° and bloodª touchethª ° blood.ª" {Hsa 4:2} + "My peopleª ask² ° counsel¹ at their stocks,ª and their staffª declarethª ° unto them: for¹ the spiritª of whoredomsª hath caused [them] to err,ª ° and they have gone a whoringª ° from under¹ ¹ their God.ª" {Hsa 4:12} + "Howª shall I pardonª ° thee for this?ª thy childrenª have forsakenª ° me, and swornª ° by [them that are] noª gods:ª when I had fed them to the full,² °¹ ¹ they then committed adultery,ª ° and assembled themselves¹ by troops² ° in the harlots'ª ° houses.ª ...
