the cherubims:
"When they went,² °¹ they went² °¹ upon¹ their fourª sides:ª [and] they turnedª ° not¹ when they went.² °¹ ... When those went,² °¹ [these] went;² °¹ and when those stood,ª ° [these] stood;ª ° and when those were lifted upª ° from¹ ¹ the earth,ª the wheelsª were lifted upª ° over againstª them: for¹ the spiritª of the living creatureª [was] in the wheels.ª" {Ezk 1:17-21} + "Then did the cherubimsª lift upª °¹ their wings,ª and the wheelsª besideª them; and the gloryª of the Godª of Israelª [was] over¹ them above.ª ¹ ... of the east:
"And he broughtª ° me into¹ the innerª courtª of the LORD'Sª house,ª and, behold,¹ at the doorª of the templeª of the LORD,ª between¹ the porchª and the altar,ª [were] about fiveª and twentyª men,ª with their backsª toward¹ the templeª of the LORD,ª and their facesª toward the east;ª and they¹ worshippedª ° the sunª toward the east.ª" {Ezk 8:16} + "And the gloryª of the LORDª cameª ° into¹ the houseª by the wayª of the gateª whose¹ prospectª [is] towardª the east.ª" {Ezk 43:4}

and the glory:
"Then I looked,ª ° and, behold,¹ in¹ the firmamentª that¹ was above¹ the headª of the cherubimsª there appearedª ° over¹ them as it were a sapphireª stone,ª as the appearanceª of the likenessª of a throne.ª" {Ezk 10:1} + "And aboveª ¹ the firmamentª that¹ [was] over¹ their headsª [was] the likenessª of a throne,ª as the appearanceª of a sapphireª stone:ª and upon¹ the likenessª of the throneª [was] the likenessª as the appearanceª of a manª aboveª ¹ upon¹ it. ...
