they shall:
"Now¹ therefore know² ° certainlyª ° that¹ ye shall dieª ° by the sword,ª by the famine,ª and by the pestilence,ª in the placeª whither¹ ¹ ye desireª ° to goª ° [and] to sojourn.ª °" {Jer 42:22} + "And I will sendª °¹ the sword,ª ¹ the famine,ª and the pestilence,ª among them, till¹ they be consumedª ° from off¹ ¹ the landª that¹ I gaveª ° unto them and to their fathers.ª" {Jer 24:10} + "So that none¹ of the remnantª of Judah,ª which are goneª ° into the landª of Egyptª to sojournª ° there,¹ shall¹ escapeª or remain,ª that they should returnª ° into the landª of Judah,ª to the which¹ they¹ have² ° a desireª ¹ ¹ to returnª ° to dwellª ° there:¹ for¹ none¹ shall returnª ° but¹ ¹ such as shall escape.² ¹" {Jer 44:14}
