court:
"For then¹ the kingª of Babylon'sª armyª besiegedª°¹ Jerusalem:ª and Jeremiahª the prophetª was¹ shut upª° in the courtª of the prison,ª which¹ [was] in the kingª of Judah'sª house.ª" {Jer 32:2} + "Moreover the wordª of the LORDª came¹ unto¹ Jeremiahª the secondª time, while he¹ was yet¹ shut upª° in the courtª of the prison,ª saying,ª°" {Jer 33:1}
Anathoth:
"Behold,¹ Hanameelª the sonª of Shallumª thine uncleª shall comeª° unto¹ thee, saying,ª° Buyª° thee¹ my fieldª that¹ [is] in Anathoth:ª for¹ the rightª of redemptionª [is] thine to buyª° [it]." {Jer 32:7} + "And unto Abiatharª the priestª saidª° the king,ª Get²°¹ thee to Anathoth,ª unto¹ thine own fields;ª for¹ thou¹ [art] worthyª of death:ª but I will not¹ at this¹ timeª put thee to death,ª° because¹ thou barestª°¹ the arkª of the Lordª GOD²¹ beforeª Davidª my father,ª and because¹ thou hast been afflictedª° in all¹ wherein¹ my fatherª was afflicted.ª°" {1Kg 2:26} + "And out of the tribeª¹ of Benjamin;ª¹ Gebaª with her suburbs,ª and Alemethª with her suburbs,ª and Anathothª with her suburbs.ª All¹ their citiesª throughout their familiesª [were] thirteenªª cities.ª" {1Ch 6:60}

that this:
That it was by His appointment that I was to make this purchase; the whole of which was designed as a symbolical act, to shew the people, that although Judah and Jerusalem should be desolated, and the inhabitants carried captive to Babylon, yet there should be a restoration, when lands and possessions should be again enjoyed by their legal owners, in the same manner as formerly. During the famine that prevailed in the city, Hanameel probably wanted money to purchase bread, and his field would not be thought of much value in such circumstances, which may account for the stipulated sum being so very small; for at 2s. 6d. the shekel, it would only amount to about 2£. 2s. 6d.
